Men suit coat pattern, with lining.
This is a pattern for a classic men suit coat.

You can make the coat in a medium or a light fabric.

The pattern comes in sizes: 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54.

Each folder contains the files for printing the pattern pieces for main fabric and lining.

Before cutting the fabrics, please consult the size chart and check which size you have to cut.

How to download your pattern:

Once you have purchased the pattern, your files will be available to download immediately.

Please note, all files will download as .zip files. You will need to unzip the files before using. On an apple computer you can double click the zipped file, and this will open a new folder that contains the patterns.
On a windows computer you will need to right click on the .zip folder, and click “extract all”.

The pattern files are in PDF format, and therefore will need to be opened in a programme that accepts pdf format. Adobe reader works well and can be downloaded online completely free for windows/mac! “Preview” also works well on Apple Mac computers.

You only need to print the files that are relevant to you.

Fabric and consumption information:

This is a very elegant coat.  You can use a light / medium heavy fabric for the main fabric.

You will need:

– Main fabric

– Lining

– Buttons / covered buttons

– Fusing

– If you decide to make the under collar in another fabric you will also need a contrast fabric or felt.

Fabric needed:

– For sizes 44, 46, 48 – 1.65  meters of fabric and 1.65  meters of lining and 0.9 meters of fusing.

–  For sizes 50, 52, 54 – 1.8 meters of fabric, 1.8 meters of lining and 1 meter of fusing.

– 2 large buttons

–6 small buttons
