Girls coat pattern, with lining.
This is a pattern for a beautiful girls coat for autumn – winter with lining.
The coat has front closure with a double row of buttons. The front right side has a scalloped edge, which gives charm and elegance to this garment.
The collar has a rounded shape. The coat has two pockets with pocket flaps at front and a half belt at back, fixed with 2 buttons. You can use any type of buttons we used covered buttons.
The pattern comes in sizes: 3-4, 4-5, 5- 6, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9 years.
In order for the coat to have a beautiful aspect, I used fusing on the following pieces: sleeve head and sleeve cuff, front center pieces, front facings, bottom hem, pocket opening, pocket piping, pocket flaps, half belt and collar.
The fusing will give fabric stability, so you can shape nicely the front scallops and steady and beautiful hems which will keep they shape.

Each folder contains the files for printing the pattern pieces for main fabric, lining and fusing.
Before cutting the fabrics, please consult the size chart and check which size you have to cut.
How to download your pattern:
Once you have purchased the pattern, your files will be available to download immediately.
Please note, all files will download as .zip files. You will need to unzip the files before using. On an apple computer you can double click the zipped file, and this will open a new folder that contains the patterns.
On a windows computer you will need to right click on the .zip folder, and click “extract all”.
The pattern files are in PDF format, and therefore will need to be opened in a programme that accepts pdf format. Adobe reader works well and can be downloaded online completely free for windows/mac! “Preview” also works well on Apple Mac computers.
You only need to print the files that are relevant to you.
Fabric and consumption information:
This is a very elegant autumn – winter coat. You can use a medium heavy / heavy fabric for the main fabric and. If you choose to use a contrast fabric you can use a velvet fabric.
You will need:
– Main fabric
– Lining
– Buttons / covered buttons
– Fusing for: sleeve head and sleeve cuff, front center pieces, front facings, bottom hem, pocket opening, pocket piping, pocket flaps, half belt and collar.
Fabric needed:
– For sizes 3-4 Y, 4-5 Y, 5-6 Y – 1 meter of fabric , 0.8 meters of lining, 0.8 meter of fusing
– For sizes 6-7 Y, 7-8 Y, 8-9Y – 1.4 meters of fabric and 1.2 meter of lining, 1.2 meters of fusing
– 8 buttons
