pattern making

More than 20 years of experience in apparel production process

Pattern making is an art. It is the art of manipulating and shaping a flat piece of fabric to conform to one or more curves of the human figure. Pattern making is a bridge function between design and production. A sketch can be turned into a garment via a pattern which interprets the design in the form of the garment components (Cooklin).

Since 1999, we have been involved in the apparel industry. We can support you in any stage of garment production proces including: initial concept, patterns, sample, grading, production markers, technicall file and production.

Digital Patterns, Gradings and Markers

We are using a CAD softwear to create pattern, grading and making markers for production.

We make the pattern starting from a sketch with some technicall details or even from a picture. If you have a size chart is OK, please send it to us, if not that’s OK too, we can make it for you. For gradings we need the size group you want the garment to be made. For production we can make the markers and the cut plan based on your order. Patterns can be digitally sent by email in DXF file or PLT file or they can be sent by courier, printed on paper.

Made to measure PATTERN

Made to measure (MTM or M2M) typically refers to clothing that is sewn according to the the customer’s body measurements. The fit of a made-to-measure garment is superior to that of a ready-to-wear garment, because ready-to-wear garments are constructed to fit the manufacturer’s definition of an average customer, while made-to-measure garments are constructed to fit each customer individually.

For making a made-to-measure pattern, we will be asking the customer to supply some particular body measurements. The primary benefits to the customer of made-to-measure clothing are that the garments will be well-fitted to the customer’s body.

We have experience in Childrenswear Patterns

Childrenswear patterns require very specific knowledge and skills not required for other areas of pattern cutting. Childrenswear is a very specialised area within the clothing industry. While not as technical, precise or standardised as Menswear or Ladieswear, Childrens styles require many more sizing catagories and need to fit a wider range of sizes.

Grading Childrenswear is very complicated and requires intricate knowledge of size specifications and sizing charts as well as the extra safety and legal issues that childrenswear presents. If you get these aspects wrong it can prove to be very expensive.
